What does Pine-Tree Wellness offer?
Pine-Tree Wellness offers wellbeing therapy and psychological support, informed by evidence-based approaches in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Compassionate Therapy (CFT). This model supports by understanding difficulties through formulation and making changes to more supportive and better coping mechanisms
It is not a psychotherapy or a crisis service
Is my therapy session confidential?
Absolutely. All therapy sessions are confidential, ensuring a safe environment for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. The only time this would be breached is if there is reason to be concerned about your well-being or someone else mentioned in the session.
What types of issues can therapy help with?
Therapy can assist with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, low mood, motivation, managing emotions, worry, eating difficulties, sleep, relationship challenges, and personal development.
How long does each session last?
Sessions typically last 60 minutes, however this can be tailored to fit your individual needs.
Do you offer CBT?
CBT stands for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Your therapist uses informed principles within a wellbeing framework, but does not offer formal CBT therapy.
What if I need more specialist support?
If it becomes clear that you would benefit from specialist or relevant mental health services, I will discuss appropriate options and signposting alongside you.
Whats the booking and cancellation policy at Pine-Tree Wellness?
Sessions must be cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice
For late cancellations or non-attendance, the full session fee will be charged.
The sessions are to be paid in advance, via the online booking system.
